Sophisticated Black and White Wedding Inspiration
Black and white is the obvious choice to create a sophisticated wedding aesthetic. It is elegant, timeless, and the springtime blooms in white make this inspiration shoot feel like it stepped off the streets of Paris.
Timeless Black and White Bouquet
This cascading style bouquet was created using locally grown blooms, including, spirea, anemone, peonies, solomon seal, and larkspur. The spirea brings structure and movement to the bouquet, while the peonies are a dramatic focal flower. The entire bouquet is completed with sheer ribbon from Silk and Willow. A sophisticated choice for any black and white wedding.
A Sophisticated and Elegant Black and White Centerpiece
I accented simple white china with a striking black linen napkin to complete the timeless color palette. By using antique silver, I’ve added yet another timeless touch. The natural patina on the silver also brings in our black accents in an unexpected way. Thank you to my lovely photographer, Nikole, for bringing her Grandmother’s silver to this shoot!
Finally, to make this place setting feel like spring, I added a touch of greenery and some sweet macaroons. This makes the table approachable and fun, while remaining sophisticated.
