Spanish Sunset - Rose and Laurel

Inspired by a sunset in Spain, this editorial sought to bring color and texture to a micro-wedding setting. To compliment the natural plaster and warm wood tones at Each Other, we used warm and golden tones throughout the floral and tablescape. The stationary by Shasta Bell Calligraphy includes a vintage Spanish botanical design, which was then echoed in the real-life florals.

All flowers were sourced locally from Minnesota, and within the U.S., using sustainable design practices. This means that we designed all flowers directly into water with no floral foam, and all design mechanics were reusable or compostable. Flower varieties include dahlias, cosmos, lisianthus, limelight hydrangea, anemone, and garden roses.

To bring a touch of modern flair and a nod to the coming fall, we incorporated dried leaves– delicate in their translucence, and modern in form. These were used to create custom earrings, and were repeated in the bridal bouquet. Finally, a classic yet modern bridal gown, custom by Audrey Bea, and a slicked back hairstyle completed the look.
