Garden Inspired Wedding in Blue

For this wedding editorial, I was inspired by blue ticking fabric, and wanted to create a garden inspired event in shades of blue. Using a blue stripe motif, and a large greenery installation, I hoped to create a nostalgic feeling–like the one you get when you visit the cabin at height of summer. I hope this garden wedding inspiration shoot is helpful as you plan your wedding!

For the wedding table, I kept the place settings simple: white china with a raised dot pattern similar to a porthole on a ship. Paired with an over-sized blue stripe napkin, traditional flatware, and a foamy blue table runner, it allowed the floral arrangements and blue pillar candles to take center stage.

The personal details followed the theme of the day, a ticking scarf to complete the outfit, coordinating pumps, and a bridal bouquet in shades of green with added texture of bunny grass as a nod to the beach theme.

Finally, the video by Bright House Weddings, with the song, “Oslo” by De Joie, perfectly captured the feeling of the shoot.
